The family of one of the Alden Park Strathmoor residents sued the facility for, “permanent and disabling injuries, resulting in loss of a normal life, disfigurement, pain, suffering and anguish” that lead to the resident’s death. The case was in dispute of the state law that does not allow for punitive damages after a residents death. The Supreme Court upheld the previous position on punitive damages.

In general I thought the facility was well maintained, and you feel a sense of warmth and compassion upon entering the facility. The common areas of the facility are the dining area, and the outside patio. The staff and management of the facility appear to be very caring. While I was there I noticed that the security on the front main entrance, was professional and greeted persons in a friendly manner.

Katie the administrator and the team at Alden Estates of Northmoor are cream of the crop. I immediately felt a sense of comfort when I walked in the door. My mom had her rehab for knee replacement and she felt very safe and well taken care of. Management is clueless as to what''s really happening on the residents floors and they prefer to keep it that way.
